Why is Mass. Eye and Ear doing this survey?
We care about our community and want to continually improve Mass. Eye and Ear. The Mass. Eye and Ear Experience Survey is your opportunity to provide the organization with your feedback. Your voice helps us to build a stronger community. Please respond to all questions as you feel comfortable, including the open-response questions where you can provide your insights and opinions on our overall culture.
 
When does the survey take place?
The survey is open to all staff from Tuesday, January 28, through Friday, February 14.

How will staff be notified to take the survey?
We are partnering with an outside consulting firm to facilitate the survey. Beginning Tuesday, January 28, all staff will receive an email from YouMatterSurvey@theclariongroup.com via Survey Monkey with the subject line, “Mass. Eye and Ear Employee Experience Survey.” The email will contain a unique link for you to access the survey. Please do not share the link.

Who is eligible to take the survey?
All Mass. Eye and Ear employees hired before January 28, 2020, will be invited to take the survey.

Is the survey confidential?
Yes, no one at Mass. Eye and Ear will ever see individual results. The survey is being administered by The Clarion Group, an independent, third party consulting firm. The data is analyzed in numbers/percentages; they only report back themes that arise. If you have further questions, please contact YouMatterSurvey@theclariongroup.com.  

How long is the survey?
The survey is expected to take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Once your survey is submitted, don’t forget to print your voucher as a thank you for joining us in building a stronger and better Mass. Eye and Ear for our employees and our patients. All participants will also have an opportunity to win an iPad.

What if someone cannot commit this much time at once to take the survey?
If you are unable to complete the survey in one sitting, the system will automatically save your responses and allow you to come back later to complete the survey. Your answers will be saved after you click NEXT. However, once you click SUBMIT, you are submitting your survey and you can no longer go back in and change your answers.

What if I don’t have regular access to a computer to take the survey?
Staff who do not have regular access to their Mass. Eye and Ear email can take the survey on any Mass. Eye and Ear computer. For additional support, please speak with your manager.
