The Clarion Group takes a very active approach in helping uncover the problems and addressing them from the beginning. Our process is sitting down and talking with our clients more than it is producing reports of findings and recommendations. We peel back the layers; our product is a deeper level of understanding.
We achieve that understanding through careful listening as clients explain their issues, and often, through interviews and focus groups. We rely on our experience, the experience of other clients and our own intuition. And we use all that information, along with the clients’ knowledge and insight, to clarify issues and co-create solutions.
We utilize surveys to gather data when appropriate. We are familiar with many of the standard assessments in the marketplace and we have our own suite of assessments tools (we call it Visible HorizonTM) that is focused primarily on the role and effectiveness of senior leaders.
While we value long-term relationships, we don’t want to create dependency. After we leave, we want things to work smoothly, with plans and strategies that are implemented and sustainable.
There are occasional client situations that benefit from the addition of closely-related expertise from outside our firm, e.g., performance assessment by a psychologist.
